Our Story
Dual Voices Press is a passion project born from a lifelong love of storytelling and a shared imagination. Written by sisters, Amanda and Crystal, our stories are shaped by years of growing up together, dreaming together, and ultimately creating together.
We spent our early years in the prairies of Saskatchewan, where wide skies and quiet moments fueled our imaginations, before moving to the interior of British Columbia — a place that continues to inspire the landscapes, magic, and sense of wonder found in our work.
We both live simple, grounded lives, balancing family, creativity, and a deep love for the outdoors. When we’re not writing, you’ll likely find us outside — often surrounded by animals, as dogs, cats, and rabbits happily rule our yards.
Writing together allows us to blend our voices, perspectives, and life experiences into stories that feel both intimate and expansive. Through Dual Voices Press, we invite readers into worlds shaped by sisterhood, imagination, and the magic found in everyday life.

Based in the interior of British Columbia, Dual Voices Press is run by sisters who write whenever and wherever life allows. Between work, family, and the responsibilities that come with both, storytelling has remained the constant thread — something we return to because we love it, not because it’s easy.
Writing together gives us space to explore ideas deeply and honestly. We talk through characters, challenge each other’s choices, and shape stories slowly and intentionally. Our shared history and creative bond influence everything we write, especially stories centered on connection, separation, and the relationships that define us.
While we currently write in the margins of everyday life, our goal is simple: to build a future where we can dedicate ourselves fully to the stories we love to tell. Dual Voices Press grew from that hope — two voices, one vision, and a commitment to creating immersive worlds that feel real, emotional, and worth returning to.
